DPD UK welcomes Prime Minister to state-of-the-art distribution centre

Retail Times reports that UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited DPD UK in Greater Manchester to discuss the company’s plans for an all-electric fleet of vehicles, investment and new jobs.

 

The PM was given a tour of DPD UK’s new, purpose-built distribution centre in Middleton and talked to members of the team. He also had a demonstration of DPD UK’s electric vehicle (EV) fleet, part of DPD UK’s aim is to be the most responsible city centre delivery company and leader in electric vehicles in the UK.

 

It also talks about the White Paper launched by DPD UK calling on vehicle manufacturers, energy providers, national and local Government to work together to tackle barriers to EV adoption.
